The Holiday Cottage consists of 2 spacious bedrooms - one double room and one twin room (double & single bed), both en-suites. The master bedroom has a large en-suite including a Jacuzzi bath, shower, sink & toilet. There is also a luxurious sitting room, sun-porch, kitchen and adjoining breakfast sun lounge with great views of the Irish landscape. It is a cosy cottage with both central heating and an open fire and an ideal touring base for exploring the world famous attractions of the South West of Ireland (e.g. Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel & Ring of Kerry)
It has all the facilities of a 4 star self catering holiday cottage i.e. powerful showers, colour television with 8 channels (including BBC 1 & 2 channels), DVD player, stereo system, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, separate hob and oven, electric blankets on all beds, towels/linen provided.
It is convenient to all cities, major towns and world famous visitor attractions in the south of Ireland; the castles of Blarney & Bunratty, the Rock of Cashel, the Ring of Kerry, Anne’s Grove Gardens and Mitchelstown Caves.
Located near the Self-Catering Holiday Cottage are pubs, restaurants and shops. Activities available in the locality are golfing (18 & 9 hole courses), fishing/angling (Blackwater river & Ballyhass lake), forest park walks (300 acre Doneraile Park with its native deer, woodland walks & stately home), hiking/mountain walks (Galtee & Ballyhoura mountains) & horse racing (Cork Racecourse).
Guests on arrival at the Self Catering Holiday Cottage will be met by me, Eva and a tray of home baking will be provided for your stay. A true home away from home!!
