Just 15 minutes from Dingle, Scorid cottage is situated on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula on the Conor Pass Road. The cottage is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Mount Brandon can be seen from the front windows. There are wonderful walks nearby, we are just off the Dingle Way walking route. Lough Adoon Archaeological and Nature trail is at the rear of the cottage. Many Ancient monuments including ritual enclosures, Bronze Age cooking sites and exposed fire bog field systems can be seen. Fermoyle beach is just a 5min. drive. For thoes who enjoy fishing there is a choice between shore and angling at Fermoyle and Cappagh strands or casting for trout or salmon in the nearby Owenmore River. There is a nine hole golf links course 10min. drive from the cottage, an enjoyable way to experience golf overlooking beautiful Brandon Bay and alongside Lough Gill. Ideally situated for wind surfing where the world championship competitions have been held. Kerry Airport is a 45min drive, Cork & Shannon Airport is 2 hours drive and Cork Ferry Port is 2 hours.
