This is a modern (built 2004) holiday home in an exclusive gated development within a short stroll from the north beach at ballybunion. Smugglers Cove has direct access onto the stunning Ballybunion cliff walk. The house itself is designed for comfort and relaxation - open fire and oil fired heating. It has four double/twin bedrooms and three bathrooms (one downstairs). The living area leads on to a large decking area which faces out on to the garden. The house is available year round.
The beaches in ballybunion are famously long (5km) and sandy. They are blueflagged and safe and yet there are excellent surfing waves year round. The cliff walk in Ballybunion is a treasure for the population of North Kerry. It has cliffs, sea stacks and the 'nine-daughters hole'. Looking out over the mouth of the broad majestic Shannon there are a number of resident dolphin pods that when conditions are right come out to look at holiday-makers. Ballybunion town has fine restaurants and bars, a theatre, library and a new leisure centre with all facilities. If you like golf, Ballybunion has two world famous links courses. Ballybunion is overlooked by Knockanoir Mountain and it is a nice 8 km walk to the summit and back. The roads around North Kerry are quiet and perfect for cycling.
